Opening of Legion, the alliance misunderstood Sylvanas’s retreat as a sign of betrayal when really she had to save her people. No! I’m fully convinced that it was the old gods!! Who would benefit the most from this tree burning? The old gods get to keep us busy fighting each other while their corruption spreads. But was it the horde? Was it Nomi? Freaking Nomi….

I know many are ready to wipe out all the horde for burning down Teldrassil. They wouldn’t have brought it up off and on through out the whole expansion for no reason. It could hopefully be about us battling for the world soul, Azeroth.īlizzard would not have laid down a foundation for the story of the old gods for nothing. This is not necessarily about the two factions in the end.

Let’s give the conjectures a chance to form though. Yes, maybe in the beginning it will be the two factions fighting it out for rule over the land. Despite how epic the opening cinematic was (it was so good!!!), I found myself disappointed. I don’t have the dire need to kill every horde I see. Not because I hate horde but because that is where my friends were when I started the game. Granted, maybe I’m biased because I find the twisted old gods/void lords fascinating but I was hyped for an old god expansion.ĭon’t get me wrong, I’ve dabbled in pvp and have had fun with it. I thought the Whispers of a Frightened World scenario was meant to be some major foreshadowing to the next expansion. We’ve been hearing about old god corruption as well as the struggling world soul of our beloved Azeroth. Legion has had a huge build up as of late on the topic of light vs. There are plenty of things in BfA that I’m really looking forward to (island scenarios, Heart of Azeroth, new story, and multiple little things) but it’s not the expansion I was hoping for. I know many are totally psyched for this! I am incredibly happy for them!! I wouldn’t say I’m psyched. People everywhere are plotting their revenge on the opposite faction. Another expansion announcement has come and gone.
